How to Find Us
Finding Tabor House

If you are arriving from Fishguard, leave the town on the A487 towards Cardigan.  Dinas is about 3 miles from Fishguard, and after passing the 40 mph limit sign continue for some way before you reach the 30 mph sign just before the village green and with the tennis court on your right.  Continue for 200 metres through a narrow section of road, and as the road widens again you will see another 40mph sign.  Just past the sign turn left and you will see Tabor Chapel directly in front of you.  The entrance to Tabor House is opposite the Chapel.

Arriving from the Cardigan direction drive through the small town of Newport (adhere strictly to the 30mph limits when entering Newport as the police frequently set up radar traps at both ends of the town) and continue for another 3 miles to Dinas Cross.  After entering the village look out for the petrol station on your left side and then continue for another 300 metres.  Turn right about 50 metres before
the 30mph speed limit sign.   You will see Tabor Chapel directly in front of you. The entrance to Tabor House is opposite the Chapel.

Travel Options

If you are visiting the UK you may wish to hire a car to travel down to Wales.  Having a car will enable you to get the most out of your visit to Pembrokeshire.  Allow five hours to travel from London and two and a half hours to drive from Cardiff.  This may seem like a long time on the road, but it is definitely worth the effort!  The simplest way to reach us from either city is to drive down the M4 motorway to Carmarthen, and then take the A40 to Haverfordwest and Fishguard.  Please note that the M4 bridge across the river Severn is a toll bridge (free when heading east).  If you are using a Satnav you may be directed onto secondary roads across country on a more scenic route over the Presceli mountains.  Both routes take about one hour from Carmarthen.

It is also possible to visit us by train.  You can get off the train at either Fishguard Harbour (for the ferry) or you get off one stop sooner at Goodwick.  A local shuttle bus transfers passengers into Fishguard Square, from where you can take a bus which stops just metres from Tabor House. We can arrange for a local taxi to meet you at the station. You can also hire a car in Goodwick, but pre-booking is recommended.

If you are travelling to or from Ireland the Ferry Port at Fishguard is just 10 minutes drive away.  The twice daily ferry is served by a bus and train service.
